So we finally made it into the city yesterday! We were really worried about bring Peyton, but he actually did great! He didn't really nap at all the entire day, but he came home and crashed for the night early and slept really well! We had a good time- New York City is exactly like all the movies depict it and better! We met one of Scott's roommates from college at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (which was AMAZING and HUGE), hung out in Central Park, visited the New York Public Library, and had lunch at a little deli nearby. It was quite an adventure taking the train into town and using the subway with the baby, but overall very doable. Here's some pics from the day!

We spent some time just walking around the streets- Scott was a trooper carrying
Peyton most of the way!

Peyton's newfound joy is the baby swings.
Luckily we found some in Central Park! He had a ball

These were actually taken in Stamford on the walk home from the train station. They have all these sculptures of cats and dogs scattered throughout downtown. Peyton and I were walking by when they were painting them and the lady wanted our hand outlines on this one. After much searching, we finally found it!
This is also a good picture of how Peyton likes to grab my hair and pull it

That's his little hand print
