Beware: this is an official picture-dumping post! We have had SUCH a great August and I'm sad it is over! Scott's mom, dad, and three of his brothers came to visit earlier in the month then my sister, brother, and sister-in-law visited right after. It was so, so great to have family around. We really enjoyed hanging out together and letting everyone get to know Peyton again.

Scott and me in Times Square. We took the Jensen's to the city when the came and walked around Times Square, visited Ellis Island, and the Statue of Liberty.

This Buzz Lightyear was in the Times Square Toys "R" Us store and is entirely made of Legos! Entirely! They also had a HUGE Lady Liberty and King Cong climbing the Empire State building. Completely made of legos! Can you tell I was impressed?

Peyton had a good time looking at the fountain- that boy LOVES water! He wanted to play in it really bad and it was super hot outside, but unfortunately we had to get to Bobby Flay's restaurant, Mesa Grill, for dinner! YUM!

This picture was taken near Harvard at a burger place featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives." The burgers were SO GOOD! I didn't think I was going to be able to finish the 7oz beef burger with bacon and cheddar cheese, but I managed. Somehow :)
Kirsten got to be great friends with Peyton- I really appreciated all her help!
These were taken at the oldest restaurant in the United States!!!! They had good Boston seafood.

At the U.S.S. Constitution museum. We thought it was a festive mural.

At a super old garden outside of the Old North Church in Boston where Paul Revere hung the lanterns to warn of the British. "One if by land, two if by sea!"

It actually rained almost the whole time we were in Boston with Dane, Kirsten and Laura. Peyton stayed nice and cuddled up in his stroller. I thanked my lucky stars I decided to buy this particular stroller because it handled the old cobblestone streets beautifully and the huge canopy kept Peyton remarkably dry while the rest of us became soaked through and had to buy ponchos and umbrellas.
