We got Peyton's second helmet Monday. He should be in it for the next 3-4 months and then we will be done with them forever! And hopefully his head will be round as a bowling ball as well. I can never stand having him wear these helmets plain and white for more than a day, so I set to work painting it the night we got it. I always feel like people are staring at him when it is unpainted and wondering what kind of brain surgery he had or something. It seems more like an accessory when it's painted. He doesn't seem to mind this one at all either, it is pretty much exactly the same as the last one except a bigger size because of his growth.
I don't think I'll keep this same design for the whole 3-4 months but we'll see how lazy or ambitious I am feeling after a few weeks! These pictures aren't the best quality, but they do the job! I had a really hard time getting a picture of the back because Peyton kept trying to turn around and look at me!

I like the way both Peyton and Snoopy's helmet match. That was a nice idea. I guess you decided against my Mickey Mouse idea; but I think Snoopy is classic and great too. Nice job Camille! Its nice to have a design on the helmet, I agree!
